***Bible Point is the place where President Roosevelt would frequently go to read his Bible. Still a top spot for visitors, one can see why he spent so much time there.
***The Jail House became the third building in Island Falls to be added to the National Register of Historic Places. It is one of only two iron celled jails that exist today in the state.
***The Island Falls Opera House is experiencing a revival in this community. They have already offered free movies to the community and we are sure that this is only the beginning for this great landmark.
The Island Falls area is a prime location for outdoor recreation. Miles of ATV trails await riders who want to see the best the area has to offer.
The Big Valley Sno Club maintains and groom the trails in this area and riders will be able to enjoy some magnificent views from here.
Canoeing and Kayaking
There are plenty of water bodies here to enjoy paddling. The Island Falls Kayak/Canoe Race takes place in the summer and draws quite a crowd.
When visiting Island Falls, one can enjoy hiking, golf, and fishing. In fact, this area offers both a winter and summer fishing derby! There is a boat launch and picnic area on Old Patten Road that will guarantee many hours of pleasure and many memories made there.
