The Pine Tree Trail Project is the result of one man's mission to bring back the history and awareness of Maine's Pine Tree Trail.
The Project's objective is to reestablish the original route while educating, energizing, and building connections between businesses, towns, cities, villages, non-profits and people living on and traveling the Trail. Boosting our local economy on the route by way of tourism is just one of the great benefits the Project will bring. Those deciding to participate in the Trail's "rebirth" have the opportunity to help turn lost history into one of Maine's most recognized treasures. The Project will create fun and excitement while proudly exhibiting the diversity of Maine's landscape, from the rugged seacoast of the south to the Canadian border of the north and everywhere in between. D.O.T. approved Pine Tree Trail signage and road maps are just a few of the main goals of the Project.
